Channel News Asia has made a report that a popular brand of instant noodle Indo Mie has been banned in Taiwan due to the discovery of hydroxy benzoic acid been used as a preservative in the termed noodle. Below the report taken directly from CNA website. Seems our government need to carry out the similar action for our country.
SINGAPORE : Singapore's Agri Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) said it is carrying out investigations to ensure that Indomie noodles available in Singapore are safe for consumption.
This follows reports that Taiwan has banned Indomie's Mi Goreng.
Taiwanese authorities said para hydroxy benzoic acid, a preservative meant for cosmetics, was found in the instant noodles.
Singapore's AVA said para hydroxy benzoic acid is not allowed here in instant noodles.
Tests have been carried out, but AVA is not initiating any recall at the moment.
It said results should be completed soon.
Indomie instant noodles are produced by Indonesia's publicly-listed food giant PT Indofood Sukses Makmur. -Channel News Asia

yeah.. banned everuthing from indon. banned their maid and ask our people to be maid.. banned their workers and ask our guys to be the labour workers.. banned their food and ask our local food distributors and factories to produce more.. banned their singers and banned then replace it with our own music,... banned their sinetron and dramas then replace with our own...hahahaah.. could you bear the consequence?
